Kate Moss loses Topshop samples

Kate Moss has lost samples of her Topshop range, in a baggage mix-up at Heathrow airport.
After flying to LA to take part in a series of photo shoots, to promote the stores Autumn collection, the model arrived at Lax. But her eight suitcases, including the one carrying the samples, was missing.
Thousands of other passengers have lost luggage, but Miss Moss has been offered £10,000 by British Airways as compensation.
Fellow Brit model Naomi Campbell was also in a dispute recently over lost baggage, but she handled it a little differently, and got herself arrested for spitting at a police officer.

Alexa Chung launches Sweatshop reality show

TV presenter and style icon Alexa Chung, is launching another reality TV show, but this time it will be set in a Sweatshop.
The "frockumentary" will be called "Dress For Less" and is set to look at the ethics of cheap clothes, and the "plight of Asian factory workers".
Alexa's Sweatshop will be set up in Covent Garden and will see 15 fashion followers, who love a bargain, work 60 hours over a week.
The ex-model will be looking into how workers in the Far East earn just 15p an hour, making clothes for some of Britain's biggest labels.
"I love affordable fashion but I'm questioning the real price of £2 T-shirts and £8 dresses," said Alexa.

Victoria Beckham gets dumped!

Victoria Beckham has been dumped, but not by her husband, by US stores.
Mrs Beckham has had her DVB fashion line withdrawn from shops in the United States, following poor sales.
After high hopes for her line in America, Kitson and Fred Segal, have both pulled the spice girls line from their stores.
Her lack of effort has also been criticised, with Kitson owner badmouthing her after her reluctance to appear at the store for the launch of her own line.
He Said: "Celebrity lines are no different from an album or a music tour, they have to be promoted to sell."

Stella McCartney is bringing eco-friendly fashion to the UK

Known as a bit of an eco-warrior, designer Stella McCartney is bringing her organic clothing range to the United Kingdom.
After expanding her line in New Yorks Barney's, she is set to debut the collection in her flagship London store.
The new range will continue the theme of her main collection, but the organic clothes are set to be a huge hit with Stella McCartney, and eco-friendly fans alike, combining the usual luxury and quality, but using organic fabrics and environmentally friendly processes.

Kate Moss voted Britain's best dressed woman

Kate Moss has stolen back her style crown, after being voted Britain's best dressed woman.
She beat fellow fashion icons Kylie and Sienna Miller to snatch the top spot on the poll, which was voted for by Glamour magazine readers.
Miss Miller was second in the poll and former model Alexa Chung made her debut at number six.
Tatler's best dressed winner, and all around style savvy Agyness Deyn, was no where to be found in the list of 50 fashion females.
Also in the poll were Brit beauties Cat Deeley, Daisy Lowe and Pixie Geldof.
Top of the worst dressed list was Britney Spears, followed closely by Amy Winehouse, and Joss Stone.

Peaches designs for PPQ

Party girl Peaches Geldof is collaborating with funky British label PPQ, to become a designer.
The rock star daughter is to design a one off capsule collection for next season, and after modelling for the brand at London Fashion Week, she is no stranger to fashion.
The new range is said to have a peach colour scheme, for obvious reasons, and is set to include dresses and lots of accessories, especially bags.
Aimed at the labels 'young and trendy fans', founders of PPQ, Percy Parker and Amy Molyneux think Peaches is one of their most confident customers and believe that the collection will go down a storm.

Banana Republic opens in UK

Fans of the US shop Banana Republic, will be pleased to hear that you no longer have to ship your purchases across the pond.
The popular American high street brand are opening their first UK shop, in London tomorrow.
The new store will be on Regent Street, and in good old American style, will be huge, spanning over three floors.
The latest spring/summer 08 range will include feminine tailoring, summer shifts and cocktail dresses.
But if your planning on making your way to London for the launch, get their quick because there will be queues.

Kate Moss is set to launch her fifth Topshop collection tomorrow. 
The models latest collection is influenced by her travels around the world, 'Miami, India, Ibiza and beyond', so expect a luxury Bohemian feel.
There is a varied selection of Aztec and Native prints, pretty summer dresses, and continuing the nautical theme, stars and stripes, so think traveler chic.
The key pieces revealed (below) include gypsy smock top, broderie anglaise dress, trademark leather jacket, the new take on the maxi dress and bootcut jeansThe collection is perfect for summer days, with delicate tops, embroidery and floaty fabrics. 
While the evening wear includes fifties-style prom dresses, floor length gowns and beaded twenties inspired flapper dress.

Style in The City

Birmingham is hosting its first ever Style in the City this year.
The event lasts from 3-6 April, with four days of catwalk shows, boutique shopping, style tips and beauty treatments.
Style in the City is a unique experience and gives visitors a chance to tour Birmingham in a very different way, with the event following a circuit around the city.
Each area will host a certain attraction, and transport is available to take you to the next area.
There will be a chance to see this seasons key looks in Selfridges, be pampered at The Oasis, receive free hair and beauty tips and attend a stylish fashion show.
Hosting the catwalk show is Kelly Osbourne, with an exclusive look forward to this years spring and summer trends, with collections from Roberto Cavalli, Pucci and Christian Louboutin.

Victoria Beckham to extend her clothing range

Victoria Beckham is said to be extending her fashion range DVB, to menswear, in an attempt to break the fashion industry.
The most famous WAG in the world has described fashion as her 'passion' and has said that her new men's collection will contain baggy jeans in different styles and washes.
Victoria was on the front cover of this months Vogue, sporting glamorous pieces including Dolce and Gabbana and Burberry Prorsum.
